R.R. Cassidy began as a family foundation business in Louisiana. Its work grew to include deep foundations, marine construction and transmission structures, supported by a fleet built for challenging access and ground conditions.
Today, the Prairieville and Beaumont teams provide foundation and marine construction, complete in-house substation construction from site work through commissioning, apparatus services, and testing and commissioning. Cassidy is a wholly owned subsidiary of Quanta Services.

Second generation of the founding family. More than 20 years in estimating and business development after summers as a yard laborer. LSU graduate.
Brandon Ruth
Vice President, Operations
Has held leadership roles in safety, project management, estimating and operations since joining the company. Bachelor of Science, LSU. Baton Rouge native.
Austin Copeland
Vice President, Electrical Services
Electrical engineer, Texas A&M. Started at R.R. Cassidy as an intern, then commissioning engineer and project manager. Leads substation construction, apparatus and relay work out of Beaumont.
Jeremy Swanton
Vice President, Relay and Field Services
Leads the testing and commissioning group. More than 25 years in protection and control, most of it with a utility before joining R.R. Cassidy. Lamar Institute of Technology.
William (Billy) Copeland
Director of Substation Operations
More than forty years of substation construction, maintenance and testing. Joined R.R. Cassidy in 2022 to run substation operations. Louisiana Tech.
Carey Graves
Division Controller
Runs accounting, payroll, human resources, compliance and administration for the field and shop operations. More than twenty years in finance and operations roles.

Our Prairieville, Louisiana, and Beaumont, Texas, operations support projects across the southern United States and other regions. The photographed projects include work in Texas, Louisiana, Alabama, Arkansas and Georgia. Our electrical experience also includes commissioning work in Arizona and Florida and station work in Louisiana and Mississippi.
